I was updating the HTML template of my main blog earlier this evening and it seemed to publish normally. However I suspect there must have been a 'glitch' during the publishing process, because when I tried to view my page it was obvious there was something radically wrong.
On checking back on the template I find that almost all the HTML code has vanished. I've sent a query to Blogger to ask if they can restore the code from a back-up, but I don't expect to hear from them (time difference between here and where they are - California) until tomorrow. I do have my own back-up, but it is not very recent and I'd have a lot of 'tweaking' to do if I used it.
Oh well, an evening and perhaps a day off from blogging. Sigh...
I have set up this blog to act as a 'back-up' for my blog on 'Blogger', in case that site goes down from time to time. This will enable me to continue posting entries here until the other blog is back in action.
Please note I don't plan to post regular entries here - it will be used only as back-up.
